Their Pricing Is Cleaner Than Most

$125 a year. Identical at every membership tier. No promotional opening rate that later swells into something bigger. In a market whose standard trick is a cheap first year followed by a steep second, that consistency deserves naming before anything else.

The platform is substantial too. Templates, document assembly, attorney consultations. Agent service is a component of a subscription, not the subscription itself.

So Run the Only Test That Matters

Open your account. Count two things from the last twelve months.

How many documents did you generate. How many consultations did you actually book.

If both numbers are healthy, stay where you are. You are getting value from a platform you use, and the agent line comes along inside it at no meaningful extra cost. That is a good outcome and we would not argue you out of it.

If both numbers are zero, look at what you are buying. You are subscribing to a legal department in order to have somewhere for mail to arrive, and mail arriving is a service sold on its own for less.

A Subscription Cannot Make Mail Move Faster

Here is where the Rhode Island specifics come in.

The state posts a courtesy reminder about the annual report before February 1 every year, and that reminder is directed at the agent of record instead of the owner. Rhode Island has effectively made your agent the delivery route for its own compliance warning.

No template library affects that. No attorney consultation affects it either. The only thing that determines whether the state's notice reaches you in time is how the agent handles the day's post. Ours goes into your portal on the day of delivery, and the email leaves at the same moment, and we send our own alerts before February 1 and again before May 1 so the state's envelope is a confirmation rather than a surprise.

The $99 covers legal service and state correspondence. General business mail is $15 an item if you want it forwarded, and that is the entire list of extras.

Nobody should read $99 as the minimum available in this state. BetterLegal publishes $90. Ours is low, it is flat, and it holds at renewal. That is a smaller boast and an accurate one.

What a Missed February Actually Costs

Worth pricing out, because the consequences escalate in defined steps rather than all at once.

The report is $50 if it goes in during the window. Miss May 1 and nothing happens immediately; the month of May is effectively slack, and a filing made on May 20 still costs $50. June 1 is the real edge. From that date the report is delinquent and $25 is added, taking the total to $75.

The money is the small part. A company that stays delinquent, or that lets its agent appointment fall away, moves into revocation territory, and a revoked LLC has lost its good standing and the liability shield attached to it until reinstatement is worked through. That is the actual stake sitting behind an envelope posted in late January.

None of which a subscription tier changes. What changes it is whether the notice gets opened and forwarded in time, which is a question about a mailroom rather than a product catalogue.
